Bosnia and Herzegovina had several acclaimed cinema achievements since the war formally ended in 1995& though there is a very little of production infrastructure in current Bosnia& we know that  poetry grows on social rubles and Bosnia has proved the same& in this regard, important question is how in future Balkan cinema can avoid a potential danger of being portrayed as politically victimized in film stories?... often minimalism in Bosnian cinema comes across as invention of necessity& it is substantially important to have the state subvention in cinema for the country of the Bosnian size because if we only rely on potential commercial success, meaning if the financing comes exclusively from the profitable sources, than, I am afraid, we will relatively soon slip into some kind of version of Balkan cinema entertainment& BUT, on the other hand, in the era of transition, shaky state cinema funds also should never have non-commercialism as criteria for greenlighting the project. Non-commercialism can only be a consequence of a movie and not the objective because it will inevitably lead us to boring quasi-artistic or over intellectualized cinema& is digital cinema something that countries with limited financing should embrace?... technical versus esthetic aspects in digital cinema?

 Als Korrespondent zählt zum Tätigkeitsbereich die Berichterstattung über Serbien und Montenegro, die ehemaligen jugoslawischen Teilrepubliken Mazedonien, Bosnien und Herzegowina, Kroatien, Slowenien, den Kosovo und Albanien sowie die Führung des ORF-Büros in Belgrad. Verbunden war und ist diese journalistische Tätigkeit mit ausgedehnten Reisen durch die Zielländer in der Region.
