Justin Greenwood:
How the institutional architecture of EU policy making structures EU interest representation: can any one type of interest routinely dominate, and under what circumstances can influence arise?
The factors governing the effectiveness of collective action organisations constituted at the EU level
Preferences articulated within EU institutions for engagement with organised civil society organisations
The way in which recent EU agendas, including those drawn from the White Paper on Governance and Articles 45 and 46 of the draft Constitutional Treaty, are changing the way in which EU lobbying has to be conducted.

Hanns R. Glatz
To represent the interests of business firms, associations, NGOs, trade unions, local authorities, or other interest groups in Brussels does not require any prior accreditation nor any specific diplomas or formation. However, the structure and the functioning of the institutions of the EU are particular and different from that of many national governmental institutions. Hence, to be successful, requires lobbyists to respect certain unwritten rules. The most essential ones of those rules will be presented in the form of the 10 golden rules for lobbyists, each one supported by examples and explanations.
