Simply Alpbach – An Evening for Werner Scholz

Culture / Video & Lecture
german language

At the request of Alpbach’s Cultural Committee, Hanna Molden, Friso Heyt and Peter Moser are searching for the life and the work of the painter Werner Scholz, who chose Alpbach as a place for living and refuge in 1939 because the Nazi regime depreciated his works as “degenerated art”. Today his works can be found at the Regional Museums of Tyrol, in the Albertina in Vienna and in the Eremitage in St. Petersburg.
