english language Lift your gaze to the balcony of the Alpbach town hall, and you’re in for a surprise!
At twelve noon, this balcony will turn into a stage. Students of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and scholarship-holders of the European Forum Alpbach will breathe new life into balcony scenes from world literature. From Great Britain to China, and, the most famous balcony scene ‘Romeo and Juliet’ will be included!

Nona SHEPPHARD
Playwright; Associate Director, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London
Nona Shepphard is a freelance writer, director and deviser with over 150 productions and 40 commissioned plays to her credit. Her plays for young people, which have received several awards, have been seen in USA, Canada, Europe and Russia. Her recent writing includes "Signs of a Star-Shaped Diva" for GraeaeTheatre Company/Theatre Royal Stratford and Therese Raquin a musical version of Emile Zola's novel. She is an Associate Director of RADA and Creative Director of RADA Enterprises. |
