The Euro: Fissure or Glue for Europe?

-
Elisabeth-Herz-Kremenak-Saal
Plenary / Debate
German and English language

Groups on the Left and the Right are increasingly turning away from project “Euro”. Decried as a “diktat of neoliberalism” or as “monetary socialism”, the Euro is being put to the test: can the Euro withstand the criticism? Will we need to rethink the Eurozone? Or is the crisis simply the birthing pains of an ever closer union?
