-
Hauptschule
Seminar / Seminar
english language

Gender has always been a crucial factor in personal and social life. Alain Touraine once commented that the most significant revolution of the 20th century was the feminist one. In this seminar we will explore selected issues and literature (including our own work) on the significance of gender in current societies. We will discuss issues of gender in culture and the political process as well as within the educational system and the labour market. Lectures will be presented alongside group discussions, video clips and classroom experiments.
