By train:

Take the train to Wörgl, then take the special shuttle bus (see below for schedule). Alternatively, take the regional train to Brixlegg. From Brixlegg, take the coach to Alpbach.

Shuttle bus:

In order to make your trip to Alpbach easier and more environment-friendly, the European Forum Alpbach and the ÖBB-Postbus GmbH are offering a special shuttle bus connecting the Alpbachtal region to the national rail service at Wörgl station. This service is part of our initiative Green Meeting Alpbach 2009.

Operates daily from August 20th until September 5^th.

In addition, the bus will make request stops. Please make your request to the driver when boarding the bus.

By car:

Take the "Inntal Autobahn" (A12), exit Kramsach, then follow the signs to Brixlegg and from there on to Alpbach. Please use the parking lot at the bottom of the village, or park your car at your accommodation. There is no parking available at the Congress Centre Alpbach.

By plane:

Austrian Airlines is the Official Carrier of the European Forum Alpbach 2009. A 15%-discount on all rates is available to the Forum's participants for their flight to the event. To claim the discount, please use the voucher code "efa09" when booking online.

The nearest airport is Innsbruck (ca. 60 km). From there take the train to Wörgl and the use our shuttle bus (see above for schedule). Alternatively, take the train to Brixlegg and then the coach to Alpbach. If you take a rental car at the airport, we recommend you leave the car at the big parking lot at the entrance to Alpbach or the parking lot of your accommodation.
