Registration

The European Forum Alpbach is open to all persons who have paid the participation fee or have been granted a scholarship.

Please use the registration form or our online registration site. Upon registration, you will receive an e-mail confirmation and an invoice. Please make sure you transfer the participation fee no later than 8 days before the event you register for. The European Forum Alpbach will not cover any banking fees.

Participation Fees

Single Day: € 250,00
Seminar Week or one Symposium: € 500,00
Seminar Week and one Symposium, or two Symposia: € 750,00
Entire European Forum Alpbach 2009: € 1.000,00

The events of the European Forum Alpbach 2009 are:

  • Seminar Week (August 20 – 26)
  • Reform Symposium (August 24 – 26)
  • Technology Forum (August 27 – 29)
  • Film Workshop (August 28 – 29)
  • Networking in the EU (August 29 – 30)
  • Political Symposium (August 30 – September 01)
  • Banking Seminar (August 31 – September 02)
  • Economic Symposium (September 01 – 03)
  • Health Symposium (September 03 – 05)
  • Built Environment Symposium (September 04 – 05)

Fees do not include travel, accommodation or board.
Separate conditions apply for the Alpbach Summer Schools.

Concessions
Students up to 30 and assistant professors up to 40 years of age are eligible for a 50 % discount upon submission of relevant identification (exception: Summer School Health Care and Social System).

Press
Press accrediations are available. Please submit a copy of your valid journalist ID together with your registration form.

Cancellation Policy
Should you be forced to cancel your registration, you may transfer your ticket to a different person by notifying the European Forum Alpbach in writing.
If you cancel your registration entirely, or you or your replacement should fail to attend the event, the following cancellation fees will be charged: 

Cancellation until August 10, 2009: € 25,00
Cancellation between August 11, 2009, and the beginning of booked event: 50% of price charged
Cancellation after the beginning of the booked event or no-show: 100% of price charged
