Volunteers for EFA22 (m/w/d)

Tasks and details

• Admission control (including entrance to the congress centrum and sessions, compliance checks, tidying up between sessions, answering general participants' questions etc.)
• Support during sessions (stagehand, handing microphones etc.)
• Simple technical assistance like moving chairs, changing settings etc.
• Cloakroom services
• Volunteers might also be asked to help with administrative tasks

Depending on availabilities and in accordance with the group leaders, volunteers are invited to join the EFA22 programme.

Arrival and departure

Volunteers are expected to arrive at the beginning of the event (20 August 2022) and stay until the day after the event (3 September 2022). However, individual arrangements might be possible.

Travel expenses based on second class train tickets (return) from your place of resident to Alpbach will be reimbursed.

Accommodation

Accommodation is organised and paid for by the European Forum Alpbach if needed. Sharing apartments with other volunteers is common.

Reimbursement

Volunteers receive an expense allowance of €26.40/day. Reimbursement - depending on effort and expenses - will be transferred to the account number provided after the event.
