Graduated from teacher training college. Spent three years studying cultural management.
1974 joined the Cultural Centre of Szeghalom
since 1997 Director of the Institute, which has established close contacts with various European organisations
1997 she set up a foundation to help those who as students, artists or teachers are involved with the arts
1998 Member of Fidesz-Civic Union, first elected as MP and re-elected in 2002
During her term in Parliament she has served on several committees, currently she is member of the Parliamentary Committee on Culture and Media.
2003 Hungarian Civic Union was born, she became the Chairwoman of the Women´s Faction of the Party. In this position, she is in charge of overseeing the establishment of a national network of committed conservative woman, as well as promoting international contacts through our partner organisations.
