Economic Symposium

It seems that the multilateral world trade system, which regulated the flow of goods and services at a global level, is history. Will trade agreements between individual states and arrangements between corporations become the enduring trend? Isn’t the digital transformation anyway reorganizing our world? How might businesses use technological developments, for example in artificial intelligence, to develop new business practices? And isn’t the scarcity of natural resources in fact the impetus to foster the entrepreneurial spirit so as to build future-ready businesses?

The frameworks governing economic activity have rarely been more complex due to shifting geopolitical power, rapid technological change and our deep ecological footprint. We invite you to enter into a dialogue with national and international business leaders, with policymakers and researchers, and with champions of new ideas - a dialogue that transcends generations and ideologies.

Please note that the programme is subject to change and will be updated continuously. If you have questions regarding the programme, please contact
