Children and adolescents need a broad range of support for a healthy development and to be able to realise their full potentials. This year's Health Symposium focuses on child and youth health. It aims at identifying the political steps which are necessary to help our youths to grow up in a healthy way. Are systemic changes required to provide the best possible healthcare for children and adolescents and if so, which ones? What do those growing up need for their healthy mental development? Do young people lead healthy lives, and how can they learn to adopt a healthy lifestyle?
Participants will discuss these central issues with experts in panel sessions as well as in interactive working groups. The resulting propositions will form the basis for the closing discussion among policy- and decision-makers.
