Children and teenagers aged 7 to 14 – Alpbach Learning Programme

August 15 to August 20, 2016 1.30pm to 5.30pm
August 21 to September 2, 2016 (not on August 26) 9am to 1pm

In conjunction with the European Forum Alpbach and the local community, the Alpbach Learning Program offers an exciting educational program for children and teenagers between the ages of seven and fourteen that will provide fun and challenging learning opportunities designed to stimulate and encourage the innate curiosity of a young person to learn and to create. Kids will have the opportunity to meet and interact with scientists and experts, as well as Forum participants and locals. They will be able to ask them questions and perform hands-on experiments. Interactive workshops, games, and both creative and cultural activities will be key components of the program. Various activities, such as experimenting, designing, cooking, or a fire drill with the Alpbach Fire Department are being planned. The beautiful environment and the stories of Alpbach and beyond will also be explored.

The Alpbach Learning Program is free of charge for children of registered participants of the EFA. The number of participants is limited to 15.

If you would like to share your knowledge and experience with the kids, please get in touch with Johanna.Mihevc@alpbach.org
