Amos YADLIN Former General, Israeli Air Force; Executive Director, INSS - Institute for National Security Studies, Tel Aviv


1970 Enlisted in the Israel Air Force as a fighter pilot, flying more than 250 combat missions behind enemy lines, commanding two fighter squadrons and two airbases.
1973 Participated in the Yom Kippur War
1981 Participated in Operation Tamuz - the destruction of the Osirak nuclear reactor in Iraq
since 2001 Executive Director of the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), Tel Aviv, Israel
2002 Promoted to the rank of Major General and named Commander of the IDF Military Colleges and the National Defense College
2004-2006 Served as IDF Attache to the United States
2006-2010 Served at the IDF's Chief of Defense Intelligence
