Breakout / Working Group
in deutscher Sprache

One of the new initiatives for enhancing Europe’s technological competitiveness are the European Technology Platforms (ETP’s), which were already initiated during the 6th EU Research Framework Programme (RP) and which have been further developed within the 7th RP in order to increase the participation of industry. This workshop will deal with current aspects, the practical relevance of ETP’s and the joint technology initiatives (JTI’s) arising from them for Austrian institutions, enterprises and research institutions involved. Based on the discussions, measures for future Austrian initiatives regarding the implementation of ETP’s and the implementation of the JTI’s starting in 2007/2008 will be elaborated.
