03: Is Data Protection an Obstacle to the Further Development of Our Healthcare System?

Hotel Alphof
Breakout / Working Group
in deutscher Sprache

Stakeholders are increasingly taking an interest in data as a basis for verifying the efficiency of different measures. Collecting the right data will become indispensable for meeting these demands in the future and defining quality indicators. How can we succeed in collecting the necessary data and protecting them in the best possible way at the same time without making them unusable because of excessive security measures? Does a refusal of data analyses offer a way out or does it hinder successful treatments?
