14: The end of oil: Global systems in transition

Breakout / Sustainability
english language

By 2050, the world population is projected to reach 9 billion people. Climate change and resource scarcity will intensify. What can we do to counter the consequences of climate change and how can we cope with food shortages? How do we manage the transition to ecologically sustainable economic and industrial systems? Should we let existing systems collapse in order to build them up in a new and sustainable way?
