Breakout / Working Group
in deutscher Sprache

Austria is a production-intensive country with a high degree of supply industries and thus facing strong international competition. Global challenges like demographic changes or limited resources demand innovative solutions. At the same time, new technologies in the fields of digitization and artificial intelligence open new opportunities. Europe has to position itself successfully, also for maintaining its technological sovereignty. A strategic competitive factor will be a technology offensive focusing on agility, vision and an appropriate combination of measures. In this breakout session, we will discuss how to strengthen our technological expertise and to secure and enhance value chains in Austria and Europe.
