Workshop for Journalists
Are you a journalist from Central and Eastern Europe and working in the fields of democracy, politics, and law? Would you like to join the debate on topics such as the strengthening of democracy and rule of law, the protection of civic and human rights, the collaboration with the EU and its partners, and the facilitation of sustainability transformations – all in relation to liberty and security?
In partnership with the Thomson Reuters Foundation, and supported by the National Endowment for Democracy, we are looking for journalists from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) EU member states to participate at a reporting workshop, taking place at the European Forum Alpbach from the 22nd-27th August.
Participation fees for the Political and Legal Symposia, travel costs (up to EUR 300,- per person) and accommodation costs will be covered.
Apply here for the unique opportunity to gain insights into diverse issues that are tackled at the Political and Legal Symposium, to experience a mix of innovators, policy makers and drivers of change, and to explore what liberty and security mean with regard to topics that make headlines on a daily basis.
