Activism versus Resistance – How to Transform Together?

The crises of modern times are being used to displace people, further drive division and destabilise democracy. Protest and resistance are the result of this as contradictions and uncertainties take over. Climate deniers and opponents of democracy must be taken seriously in order to be able to shape the future together as a society. But how to take action and to encourage energy transformation in open democracies? What influence has populism on the discourse of climate change and energy transformation? And how to strengthen the participation of citizens?
