Collecting and Saving Digital Sounds for the Future
Seminar
This seminar builds a bridge to the art project “Start By Listening”. Participants will record sounds in and from Alpbach and process them artistically. The created soundscapes are intended not only to help capture the special sounds in Alpbach, but also to preserve them for future generations, thus becoming artefacts of their time. Such artefacts have always been collected and are valuable testimonies of human culture – as digital trading with tokens also makes clear.
