The Covid pandemic, the short-term blockage of the Suez Canal and the current war in Ukraine exposed vulnerabilities in the global food system, especially with regards to production hubs, transportation routes and input costs including energy prices. Norbert Totschnig, Minister of Agriculture, will discuss geopolitical and security aspects of global food security with international experts and ministers as well as their respective responses to ensuring it.
