Dirk Brockmann

He is professor for Complex Systems at Humboldt University of Berlin and Robert Koch-Institute in Berlin. He is an expert on complex dynamical processes in biological and social systems, and pioneered the use of mass data collected by digital devices for understanding human behaviour and the spread of infectious disease. His research has been instrumental to understanding and mitigating the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany.
