Günther Platter
Günther Platter was a member of the Austrian Federal Government from 2003 to 2008 and Governor of Tyrol from 2008 to 2022. He initiated the establishment of the Euregio’s joint office in Bolzano, which opened in 2010. He served twice as President of the Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino. In 2025, he was honoured with the Ring of Tyrol, the state’s highest honour.
