In the near future, a mysterious being discovers a world devoid of humans and sets out to uncover the cause of humanity’s disappearance. It follows clues from the past – audio recordings of conversations with renowned scientists, made before the extinction – and uses them to create its own documentary film: HUNGRY.

The premiere takes place in cooperation with European Forum Alpbach, Filmgarten and Votivkino.

Following the film, there will be a discussion with:

Susanne Brandstätter, filmmaker
Michelle Meagher, competition lawyer, expert on monopoly power and
Senior Fellow at SOMO and the UCL Centre for Law, Economics &

Daniel Huppmann, Senior Research Scholar at the IIASA Energy, Climate, and Environment Programme and Co-Chair of the Second Austrian Assessment Report on Climate Change (AAR2)
