Welcome to the media section of the European Forum Alpbach. In due time you will find general information about the European Forum Alpbach as well as press releases and pictures related to the EFA22.

Accreditation

Accreditation will be granted to those who can provide a valid press card (international or national) or one of the following proofs of journalistic activity (including photojournalistic activity) related to the topics of the European Forum Alpbach:

  • article published not earlier than 12 months before the time of the event
  • article in which the applicants journalistic title is named, not older than 6 months at the time of the event
  • scanned e-mail request/presentation from the chief editorial office. Requests on letterhead paper will not be accepted. The e-mail address needs to indicate clearly the magazine’s editorial office or the publisher.
  • A link to an online publication (webmagazines and social media posts) that is well established in the related industry community and that can prove an adequate reach.

Online media of this type must have been in existence for at least 12 months prior to the event, must produce regular entries, and the most recent article relating to one of the topics of the European Forum Alpbach must be not older than 6 months.

Credentials should be presented in German or English.

We advise you that data received for the purpose of processing your accreditation may be also used for the clarification of queries.

The following groups of persons will not be accredited as press:

  • people without journalistic credentials, such as account managers, sales managers, advertising managers or webmasters, communication&marketing managers, PR consultants and private companions
  • people who are exclusively active in social networks in a private capacity

The Press Office reserves the right to accept or refuse applications for press accreditation.
