Apply: Seminar Assistant
Have you been a scholarship holder at the European Forum Alpbach in the past? Did you enjoy the seminars and would you like to become more involved in the content and organisation? Now is your chance to apply as a Seminar Assistant and come back to Alpbach!
Your tasks
- Support the seminars to make sure everything runs smoothly and to give every participant a good experience (communicating between the EFA team and the seminar chairs; writing a review of your seminar; assisting with evaluation & involvement in programmes; help with facilitation of the seminars to establish a safe space and guide the team)
- Connect the seminars to further modules in the second week of EFA
- Enable exchange between seminar chairs and scholarship holders by serving as the bridge between the two

Prerequisites
- Previous participation as an EFA scholarship holder
- You have not been a seminar assistant before
- Age 35 and under
- Fluent English (at least level B2 according to the CEFR)
- Experience in assistant-related or leadership tasks (work experience or extracurricular involvement)
- You are conscientious and enjoy supporting academic work in an administrative role

Most of the 26 scholarships for seminar assistants will be awarded to applicants who can stay for the entire duration of the EFA24 event (18-30 August 2024). However, we also offer a few spots for a shorter period (18-24 August 2024). Please indicate your preference in your online application.
