Blackout: Opportunities and Their Impact on People and Society

This year's Universities of Applied Sciences Forum will focus on this question: What is the importance of information in our (working) lives and for society? Transportation, energy supply, opinion-forming, banking transactions and many other areas are based on information processing and provision. But how important is information to modern society? Can we still imagine and manage our lives without information? What are the threats to such data, and how can these threats be reduced? A high-level panel will discuss these questions.

The Universities of Applied Sciences Forum addresses all stakeholders in the field of higher education, researchers, industry partners, media representatives as well as students.
