english language

The OIF wants to take the commemorative year 2014 (e.g. 100 years since World War One, 25 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall) as an occasion to look at past and present migration movements, their consequences and the lessons learnt from history. Migration experts and participants will analyse possible effects of migration on the economic potential of a country. What are the economic, social and political consequences of migration, which benefits does it have and what are its major challenges?
