Plenary / Opening

Christin Lahr expounds her thoughts on the capital gains for which the German state has to thank this artistic long-term project MACHT GESCHENKE: DAS KAPITAL. On May 31, 2009 she started transferring 1 euro cent and 108 characters from Karl Marx’s “Das Kapital” to the Finance Ministry every day, thus helping to remedy the Federal Republic’s debt burden in homeopathic doses.
