Dr. Clemens Martin Auer is Special Envoy of Health at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection. He started his political career in the early 1990s as a Head of the political department of the Austrian conservative party. Having joined the Ministry of Health in 2004 as the Cabinet chief, he later switched to civil service. ClemensMartin's academic background is philosophy and political science; he holds a doctor’s degree. Clemens Martin Auer was elected EHFG President in the board elections in June 2017.
