He has been the Head of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s (KAS) Ukraine Office since March 2024. Previously, he served as the Deputy Head of the KAS Think Tank (Division Analysis and Consulting) in Berlin and as the Head of the Middle East and North Africa Department within the Division European and International Cooperation. He gathered extensive experience in Middle East and international politics having led offices on Ramallah, Amman, and Abu Dhabi. Before his postings for KAS, he served as an advisor to the CEO of the Association of German Banks and as an Advisor and Speechwriter of the Governor (Ministerpräsident) of Thüringen.
