She studied Environmental Systems Sciences and then worked at the European Center for Renewable Energy Güssing. She founded two citizens’ initiatives and served two terms as a Member of Parliament, as well as Climate, Energy and Environment Spokesperson for the Greens and Chair of the Environment Committee of the Austrian Parliament. Afterwards, she worked at Verbund AG. Today, she serves on the board of CEOs FOR FUTURE and founded both the Climate Business Circle and Christiane Brunner – Climate Business Consulting.
