He studied sociology and in 2001 became one of the youngest members of the Vienna City Council. Since 2020, he is responsible for Climate, Environment, Democracy and Personnel. With the „Vienna Climate Guide“ he has developed a clear action plan that sets the path to climate neutrality by 2040.
