Michael Faulend has served as Vice-Governor of the Croatian National Bank since 2013 (reappointed in 2019 and 2025). He joined the Bank in 1997, including a stint at the International Monetary Fund, and leads international and European relations, contributing to Croatia's EU accession and euro adoption.
