She is dedicated to fostering excellent science, translational research and innovation at the Medical University of Vienna with more than 20 years’ experience in industry, government-funded agencies, and academia. She is chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of the European Forum Alpbach, a member of the board of trustees at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria, the Research Leads Network and the policy working group of the European University Hospital Alliance, as well as the European University Association expert group on innovation.
