Maurizio Fugatti has served as President of the Autonomous Province of Trento since 2018 and was re-elected in 2023. Previously, he served in the Italian Chamber of Deputies for three terms and was Undersecretary of State for Health in 2018. He also served as President of the Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino from 2021-2023
