Martha Gärber is Director of the Europe Department of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/Bozen – South Tyrol and responsible for key areas of European and national cohesion policy in particular European territorial development and cross-border cooperation. She is particularly focusing on people, regional diversities and place-based development, and convinced that Europe is not only a funding framework, but also a democratic peace project in a space of shared responsibility.
