As a journalist she has been reporting from Europe’s border regions, focusing on migration, forced displacement, and the climate crisis. She contributes to international and German-speaking media outlets such as Die Zeit, The Guardian, and WOZ (Switzerland), works on audio formats including Spotify Originals's Memento Moria, and is the author of Die Insel (2023). She studied International Development at the University of Vienna and the Politics of Conflict, Rights and Justice at the SOAS in London.
