Peter Hanke has served as Austria’s Federal Minister for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure since 2025. In his role, he promotes research and development to advance sustainable and affordable solutions that connect people across Austria and Europe. Previously, he worked for 20 years as chief executive and served seven years as Executive Minister for the City of Vienna for Finance, Business, Labour, International Affairs and Public Utilities.
