Mikayla Jensen-Large
Graz-based Canadian soprano Mikayla Jensen-Large performs regularly as an operatic soloist and chamber musician in Austria and in other countries such as Italy, Germany, and Switzerland. In the last year, Mikayla sang in the world premiere of the opera Nachhall as part of the ORF musikprotokoll Festival in Graz, and made her German operatic debut at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau in the world premiere of Yana Shliabanska’s Der Elefant im Weißen Meer. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Performance Practice of Contemporary Music (PPCM) at the Arts University Graz in the class of Holger Falk. Mikayla also holds a Masters in Konzert Gesang from the Zurich University of the Arts, specialized in Oratorio and Lied.
