He works as a scientist at the Center for Global Change and Sustainability at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). After studying environmental and bioresource management in at the BOKU University Vienna and a second degree in holistic science at Schumacher College in England, he spent 8 years abroad, including in Great Britain, South Africa, Cameroon and Brazil, where he developed and supported community-oriented sustainability projects and worked as a consultant for NGOs, civil society initiatives and companies. In his work and teaching he combines systems thinking approaches with participatory and collaborative project development as well as holistic implementation methods.
