She has been Chairwoman of the Tourism and Leisure Industry Division of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber since 2025 and was State Secretary for Tourism from May 2022 to 2025. Prior to this, she headed the Austrian Chamber of Commerce's Hotel Industry Association until May 2022 and represented the hotel and catering industry at EU level as President of the European umbrella organisation HOTREC from 2015 to 2018.
