Andrius Kubilius has served as the European Commissioner for Defence and Space since December 2024. Previously, he was a Member of the European Parliament, twice Prime Minister of Lithuania, and Leader of the Opposition in the Seimas. He has received numerous national and international honours and holds a degree in Physics.
