She was born and raised in Brazil and received her Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of La Verne in California, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She won the Undergraduate Creative Writing Contest in 2019 and had three poems published in Prism Review. She has worked as an English teacher at an International School in Brazil and is currently enrolled in the Creative Writing Master’s degree at Bath Spa University.
