She was a journalist for media outlets in Italy, Austria, and Germany and worked for publications including Dolomiten, Der Standard, Wirtschaftsblatt, News, n-tv, Börsen-Zeitung and Il Sole 24 Ore. In 2019, she became Head of the Economics Department at ORF Radio. Since January 2022, she has been Regional Director of the ORF regional studio in Tyrol.
