Johannes Pleiner-Duxneuner is an Austrian physician and expert internal medicine, clinical pharmacology and nutrition. Since 2024, he serves as Managing Director of AGES (Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety), where he leads One Health initiatives and oversees the AGES portfolio including public health, food safety, nutrition and applied research. Previously, he held senior positions in the pharmaceutical industry and the Medical University Vienna. He holds an MD and PD (Assoc. Prof.) from the Medical University of Vienna and brings extensive experience at the intersection of medicine, regulation, and research.
