He is Tyrolean, father of two children and agriculture is in his blood: As Minister of Agriculture Norbert Totschnig is the strong voice for our farmers. The Federal Minister grew up with six brothers and sisters on a farm in Eastern Tyrol and has 20 years of experience in federal and agricultural policy. As a bridge-builder he understands how to reconcile economic, ecological and socio-political interests. His work in the field of politics has been characterised by a future-oriented and balancing attitude for 20 years.
