He started his career at Tiroler Sparkasse before moving through various roles at Raiffeisen, where he was a member of the Management Board before rejoining Tiroler Sparkasse. He holds a degree in law and was CEO of Tiroler Sparkasse from 2011 until the end of October 2022. He was appointed to the Management Board of Erste Bank Österreich on September 1, 2022.
