Christoph Wiederkehr has been the Federal Minister for Education since 2025. Prior to that, from 2020 until 2025, he served as Deputy Mayor and Executive City Councillor for Education, Youth, Integration and Transparency of the City of Vienna. He studied political science at the University of Vienna, the University of Sussex, and the Australian National University.
